Each Dot runs on its own cloud computer and browser, can use connected apps and keeps working in the background. At launch each eligible account got one Dot, and access was limited to higher paid plans in eligible markets. **Good for:** research, monitoring competitors, preparing reports and ongoing tasks if you already use ChatGPT. ## Claude Duet (Anthropic) Anthropic launched Claude Duet as a research preview in October 2026. It is a proactive agent aimed at professionals and small businesses. It connects to your apps, suggests what needs attention (for example a morning brief), builds dashboards and simple web apps, and can work in the background on its own cloud computer. At launch it was waitlist-only for Pro and Max subscribers in the US. Anthropic says it will not trade securities or move money, and warns it can misjudge urgency. **Good for:** business owners who want help staying on top of email, scheduling and reporting. ## Meta Muse (Meta’s AI agent) Meta launched Muse in September 2026 as a personal agent for everyday tasks, such as sending emails, filling forms, booking travel and making purchases. It is available on the web, iOS, Android and through WhatsApp, and runs inside a dedicated secure virtual machine. At launch it was available to US users aged 18 and over, with a free tier and paid plans. **Good for:** personal and admin tasks, especially if WhatsApp is central to how you work. Think carefully about how much access to email and payments you give it. ## Grok Bot (xAI) xAI launched Grok Bot in beta in August 2026. It gives you a set of agents (called Bots) that work on a cloud computer with a browser, files and a terminal. Bots can hand work to each other and return to you when they need a decision. xAI positions it for sales outreach, marketing campaigns, expenses and CRM updates. Access started with SuperGrok and bundled subscription plans. **Good for:** small teams experimenting with sales and marketing automation. Reviewers note it is better suited to individual productivity than to tightly controlled business processes. ## Hermes Agent and OpenClaw (open-source) **Hermes Agent** from Nous Research is an open-source (MIT licence) agent you run on your own server or computer. It remembers context across sessions, runs scheduled tasks and writes reusable skills from experience. It works with many AI models and can be reached through Telegram, Discord, Slack and more. Nous Research also offers paid plans that include a hosted cloud agent. **OpenClaw** , previously called Clawdbot and Moltbot and often searched as "Clawbot", went viral in early 2026. It is a free, open-source agent you chat with through WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack or Discord. It can run commands, manage files and control a browser using models such as Claude or GPT. **Warning:** because these agents can run commands and access files, a mistake or a malicious instruction can do real damage. Run them on a separate machine or cloud server, never on the laptop that holds your seller accounts and banking, and limit what they can access. ## Which AI agent should you buy? - **Already pay for ChatGPT?** Try Dots when it is available on your plan. - **Want a business-focused assistant for email, scheduling and reports?** Join the Claude Duet waitlist if you are eligible. - **Live on WhatsApp?** Watch Meta Muse as it expands beyond the US. - **Have a developer and want full control?** Hermes Agent or OpenClaw on a secure server. - **Not available in India yet?** Use the standard assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) with connected apps today.
